Every time I think about buying music in a record store, I feel disgusted. The record labels and music stores are so greedy. But I don't like to break the rules of my society. However, the music industry clearly exploits the customers (and the artists). So what I want to say is "Give me five good reasons not to download music from the Internet." I can't muster up much sympathy for the music industry. Usually I come back to the tiny, but not insignificant, bit of money that the artist gets when I buy a record. I want to pay the artist. I will also happily pay a fair price for the manufacturing and distribution of the records. But I cannot pay the ridiculous price that they demand in the record store. Anyway, all of this just frustrates me and causes me to neither buy music nor download it. I just listen to the same old CDs that I already have or whatever my friends lend me.
